 Leaving Piazza del Comune and going towards Porta San Giacomo you pass through Via San Paolo and reach Via Metastasio, where there is Palazzo Aloigi, dating back to the 16th century.
This Palace belonged to the family of the painter Andrea d’Assisi called L’Ingegno, the follower of Pietro Perugino praised by Vasari.
Palazzo Spagnoli looks on the square (it was built for Sigismondo Spagnoli in 1925 “The foolish dream over the city…”).
